“I’ve known Kim since my daughter, Katherine, started speech therapy with her when she was 3 years old until she turned 5 years old. Kim was a devoted professional who took on my daughter’s case with a sincere approach, which was to get her to speak. She observed Katherine during the session and implemented appropriate therapy to encourage her to ask for things, identify things, and vocalize her emotions. She also did parent training during the session so we could perform the same tasks with our daughter at home such as ignoring problem behavior, requesting words when Katherine wanted to access things or seek tangible items. She asked us to stay during the whole session so we could observe how she ran the session and learn from it.
Since Katherine had received her speech therapy, she started to use her words at home and at school. We were grateful to have known Kim and Katherine have been improving with her speech as the result of her dedication and commitment.”
